From my mother’s womb
You have chosen me
Love has called my name
I’ve been born again, into your family
Your blood flows through my veins
I am currently addicted to the song “No Longer Slaves” by Bethel Music. This song, whether it was intended to be or not, has become my go-to adoption song for Caston. It speaks so loudly about our adoption by God. We are chosen; we are loved; we are born again, when we choose to believe that the death of Jesus redeemed us.
I am so thrilled to announce to you all that China said YES! We have received our Letter of Acceptance, and we can now move forward with the adoption of Caston Dale Phillips. (We chose the name Caston because we loved it, and Dale is my step-dad’s middle name. All our boys share their middle names with the grandpas!) We praise God that Caston was chosen for us. Love has called his name. I’ve been aching for months to share his precious pictures with you all. Without further delay, I would like to introduce you to our son, Caston.
His eyes…they remind me so much of Braden’s when he was a baby. This picture was taken right around the time he turned one.
He’s a tiny little peanut like Caleb!
He looks so good in blue!
This was the first picture we saw of our sweet boy. I’m guessing he was 7 or 8 months old at the time. Already reaching for mama!
Please pray for Caston, that God is preparing his heart to leave the life he knows. Pray for an easy transition for him into our family. Pray that our kids also transition well with the addition of a new sibling. And finally pray for speedy paperwork. We are ready to make him a Phillips NOW!
